Radar acoustical ceiling panels are economical, medium-textured panels that feature a unique, non-directional pattern. They are made with a water-felted manufacturing process, which provides excellent sound Ceiling Attenuation Class (CAC) performance. The surface of the panels has perforations that aids in sound absorption. Maintenance is simple because the surface cleans easily with a soft brush or vacuum. J.T

  • All USG acoustical ceiling panels are rated Class A (the highest possible) as test to CAN/ULC-S102. These materials do not sustain a fire when flame is removed (result <25 FSI) and do not generate significant amounts of visibility-obscuring smoke (result <50 SDI).
  • Ceilings with a Light Reflectance (LR) above .75 reduce eyestrain and save energy by reducing the number of light fixtures needed to illuminate a space. This ceiling panel has an LR of .83.
  • This ceiling panel will absorb 55% of sound reaching it. 70% and above is important in environments such as open-plan offices and schools.
